Message from the H.O.D

Welcome to the Department of Sociology at the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. With a dedicated team of 14 academic staff and three non-academic staff, our department is committed to providing a supportive and intellectually stimulating environment for both students and researchers. As the Head of the Department, I am proud of the diverse expertise and passion our faculty brings to the study of sociology. We aim to equip our students with the critical thinking skills and sociological insights needed to understand and address the complexities of society.
