Dr. S. Z. Abdulbaqi is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ilorin, with 12years of university teaching, research, and administrative experience. He has served as academic level adviser, Department of Sociology, Coordinator of MILR (Master in Industrial and Labour Relations). His areas of research interest cover Industrial Sociology, Social Development and Planning, social Statistics, Models in Sociological Analysis. He had Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Industrial Sociology from the University of Ilorin and B.Sc. Degree in Sociology from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto. He has to his credit over 30 publications in reputable outlets covering journals, edited conference proceedings edited books and chapters in books. He is the current Head of Department.
